Delhi Public School celebrates Independence Day in Ferozepur

Students celebrated with patriotic fervor

Ferozepur, August 15, 2015: The Patriotic fervour came alive at Delhi Public School, Ferozepur during the celebration of the 69th Independence Day.

The students displayed full patriotic fervour waving the tricolor and proudly sporting the national flag as badges. The Special Assembly began with the prayer “Where the mind is without Fear” by Rabindranath Tagore.

The students took the audience back to the days of freedom struggle through a short docudrama, “Glimpses of Freedom Struggle”. The school choir sang “Mera Mulk, Mera Desh”.

The little ones of the playgroup, Nursery and Prep celebrated the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and joy. They came dressed as freedom fighters in the ‘Freedom Fighters’ Parade’ and charmed every one with their innocence. The dances to the songs “We are Indians“ and “Joy and Sunshine”, displayed by the children in their innocence, gave the message of oneness. The celebrations ended with a quiz on “My Country, my World

The Assembly ended with a dynamic dance performance on “India Wale”.
