Cyber Crime Cell registers case against unknown persons for Rs.15.47 cr in ICICI Bank under IT Act

Ferozepur, October 22, 2023: After an application filed by ICICI Bank Limited, on investigation, State Cyber ​​Crime Cell Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar has  registered a case,   against some unknown persons, for fraud of Rs.15,47,46,177 cr in ICICI Bank under Sections 66, 23 IT Act, and 420 120-B IPC, Ferozepur City Police Station from the bank through the software of the bank, on the complaint of Ajay Gautam of SAS Nagar.

According to Randhir Kumar, SP(D), who’s has been appointed as I.O. in this case,  the investigations are still on.

It’s still a matter of investigation as to whether the amount has been withdrawn from the bank, by hacking the software or from the accounts of the customers.
