Ferozepur, May 9, 2016 :  Former Minister, Jathedar Inderjit Singh Zira, Chairman, Kissan Khet Mazdoor Cell, spoke to the media persons while leaving for Chandigarh from Zira that Congress workers will sit on dharna on May 11 for one hour from 12 noon to 1 pm to register their protest – against the lathi charge on leaders, arthias going to gehrao  the CM’s residence for unnecessary harassment to the farmers, transport contractors, labourers by not making the balance Rs.5000 crore balance payment – by entering the Punjab Congress state office at Chandigarh.

Inderjit Singh Zira pointed out that when DGP Punjab is talking about the existence of 427 gangsters in the state clearly proves that they have not mushroomed overnight rather operating under the express patronage of the Akali-BJP ,

Zira said, despite meeting the administration with regard to lathi charge by the Chandigarh police on the leaders of Kissan Cell and party leaders, no action has been iniatiated so far.

Now to register our protest, a decision has been taken to sit on dharna on May 11 instead of May 10 being dharna at Delhi, in front of the office of Governor Punjab.

Condemning the viral of photos and news published in the newspaper of PA- a relative of CPS Punjab, there is need of high level enquiry with regard to smuggling of drugs through Tirath Yatra trains.

Expressing concern over the statement of Deputy Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal, to curb the menace of drugs and availability of black sheeps in the police, he said, black-sheeps are not in the police rather in Akali-BJP parties and its number of influential are still in the jails or absconding.
