Distt Admn Ferozepur releases helpline number for COVID related issues
Ferozepur, April 27, 2021: In view of the growing influence of Covid in the district, the district administration of Ferozepur has issued a helpline number for the convenience of the people. All should come forward Covid vaccination to contribute to fight against Corona, said ADC(G) Rajdeep Kaur.
Disclosing this here today Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Rajdeep Kaur said that if anyone needs any help or information about Covid-19 (Corona), he can contact at landline number 1632-224039 from 9 am to 5 pm. If need be, the facility would be extended for 24 hrs, she added.
She said. in addition to this if there is any problem with regard to the oxygen cylinder or anyone related to it, the same be reported at this number also.
ADC said, as per the directions of the Punjab government, adequate arrangements have been made by the district administration to deal with the Corona epidemic.
In view of the increasing number of cases of Covid-19 daily, she made an appeal to the people to use masks, sanitizers, soaps etc. from time to time and keep a distance from each other and continue to follow the guidelines of the government and health department from time to time, to stop further transmission of the virus, she added.
A vaccination campaign has also been launched and all must get vaccinated to contribute to the fight against Corona. There is no need to be panicky and don’t fall prey to rumors as the vaccine is safe and helping in containing the Carona epidemic, she said.
