BSNL CJM inaugurates first 4G BTS Site of Made in India technology in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, February 27, 2023: Under the self-reliant India campaign, the installation process of first 4G BTS Site designed and manufactured with Made in India technology has been initiated today Le. 27.02.2023 at BSNL Ferozepur.
The process for the same was inaugurated by Sandeep Diwan Chief General Manager, Punjab Circle. Ajay Karara Principal General Manager (CMTS) was the special guest, Kanwaldeep Singh General Manager, Ferozepur, Sh Jagdeep Singh Internal Financial Advisor Ferozepur, Gian Chand Aggarwal Deputy General Manager and Jagdeep Singh Divisional Engineer (CMTS) was also present there.
On the occasion, Diwan intimated that the installation process of 4G sites in Ferozepur has been started as pilot project on PAN India Basis and this is 1st such site in India. The installation of all 92 BTS sites in 1st phase in Ferozepur will be completed by 15.03.2023 and after due checking and other formalities, the commercial launch of the 4G services is planned on 01.04.2023.
