BSF thwarts smuggling attempt, seizes heroin in Punjab’s Abohar Sector
Ferozepur, May 16, 2021: On Sunday, alert Border Security Force troops seized three Packets of contraband (Total weight approx. 2.580Kgs) suspected to be Heroin along with one Pistol (9×19 MM, Made in Turkey) and one Mag in the area of responsibility of 2Bn BSF, Abohar Sector.
Anti-National Elements trying hard to smuggle drugs along with weapons, but vigilant troops of Border Security Force enormously defeating all these nefarious attempts proactively.
During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border -Heroin : 229.995 Kgs (including today’s seizure), 3 Indian Border Crosser Apprehended , 11 Pak Intruder , 11 Pak intruder killed, 7 Weapons (Different Types), 9 Magazine (Different Types), 146 Ammunition(Various Calibres
