BSF thwarts attempt of anti-national elements, seizes heroin, one pistol from Punjab border
Ferozepur, March 26, 2020: On 26 March 2020 alert Border Security Force troops seized 03 Bottles of contraband (weight approx- 05 Kgs) suspected to be heroin along with 01 Pistol in the area of responsibility of 29 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.
Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push the consignment of contraband items into India.
During the year 2020, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border as Heroin : 106.477 Kgs (including todays’s seizure of approx. 05 Kgs) Indian Border Crosser Apprehended : 32 Nos Pak Intruder : 03 Nos Weapon (Different Types) : 14 Nos (including todays’s seizure) Magazine(Different Types) : 22 Nos Ammunition(Various Calibers) : 237 Rds, Pak Mobile Phone : 02 No, Pak SIM Card : 04 Nos
