Attack on RSS leader vehicle, demands arrest of assaulters
Ferozepur, April 15, 2021: RSS State Sanyojak Haryaval Punjab Ram Gopal, who was attacked by the farmers during his visit to Mallawala, is complaint to the police, has blamed Punjab Police for not acting timely and through an email to the police, he has demanded registration of a case and immediate arrest of assaulters.
Ram Gopal in his complaint has alleged for life threat and physical assault on Y-Plus VIP security and leveled allegations on the police for not making any attempt by the police to stop the attackers and mob consisting of three hundred people gheraoed the house of his host in village Nihala Lavera for two hours continuously besides abusing for his Mazhabi Sikh status. Ram Gopal has demanded immediate action by arresting the assaulters to restore the faith of the police.
Ram Gopal claimed to have gone to the Mallanwala on the invitation of Shri Ram Janmbhumi Teerth Kshetra rus Abohiyan for his words and hardly stayed for 10-15 minutes when the antisocial elements armed with deadly weapons raised slogan and started attack the VIP sitting in the car.
SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena confirming the FIR against 5 persons said, further investigations are on in the incident and action will be taken after the report.
