ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ , 1-9-2026: ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਖੇ ‘ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਤਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ’ ਤਹਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਫੈਂਸਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਐਸ.ਐਨ. ਰੁਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਕੂਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੇਡ ਕਲਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਲਡ, ਸਿਲਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਜ਼ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤੇ। ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਫੈਂਸਿੰਗ ਕੋਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਾਂਗਬਾਮ ਕਾਨੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਹੇਠ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਅੰਡਰ-17 ਲੜਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਪ ਨਾਥ ਨੇ ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ, ਸਿਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਿਲਵਰ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ, ਜਦਕਿ ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ. ਦੇ ਰਿਤਮਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਵੀ.ਡਬਲਯੂ.ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਯੁਵਰਾਜ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਜ਼ ਮੈਡਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ. ਦੀ ਜੈਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਗੋਲਡ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਨਾਜ਼ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਸਿਲਵਰ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਸੁਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਂਜ਼ ਮੈਡਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਂ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੇਤੂ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਡਲ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਡੌਲੀ ਭਾਸਕਰ, ਵੀ.ਪੀ. ਐਡਮਿਨ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਪੂਰ, ਵੀ.ਪੀ. ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕਸ ਸ਼ਿਪਰਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਚੀਫ ਐਡਮਿਨੀਸਟ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਪਰਮਵੀਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਖੇਡ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ।

ਡਾ. ਰੁਦਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਤਮ-ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ, ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਹਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

Students of Vivekananda World School tie rakhis to the nation’s soldiers and doctors, delivering a message of respect and patriotism.

Ferozepur, September 1, 2026: Giving detailed information, school director Dr. S.N. Rudra stated that the students of Vivekananda World School celebrated the festival of Rakhi with the nation’s soldiers and doctors—who play a vital role in society—with immense love, respect, and a spirit of patriotism. On this occasion, the students tied rakhis to the brave soldiers deployed for the nation’s defense at the Hussainiwala Border as well as to the city’s doctors, expressing their respect and gratitude.

While tying rakhis on the wrists of the soldiers, the students shared that just as a brother protects his sister, our soldiers protect the nation day and night. The students expressed their feelings toward the brave soldiers who stand firm to protect the country under difficult circumstances on the border, and extended their best wishes for Rakhi.

Carrying forward this same spirit, the students also tied rakhis to the doctors of Firozpur. They thanked the doctors for their spirit of service, dedication, and healthcare services.

This initiative by the school has been a meaningful effort to connect students with important life values alongside their studies. Through this activity, the students learned that it is our duty to respect every individual who serves the country and society.
