ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ, 16 ਨਵੰਬਰ , 2025: ਮਯੰਕ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ 8ਵੇਂ ਮਯੰਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਮੈਮੋਰੀਅਲ ਓਪਨ ਬੈਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ – 2025 ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਮਯੰਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਡ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਐਲਾਨ ਮਯੰਕ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਡਾ. ਅਨਿਰੁਧ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ 8ਵੇਂ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ ।
ਇਹ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬੈਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ, ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੈਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗਤਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਚ ਮਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ 25, 26 ਅਤੇ 27 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਦਾਸ ਐਂਡ ਬ੍ਰਾਊਨ ਵਰਲਡ ਸਕੂਲ, ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਸਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਖੇਡ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
2025 ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ 500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸ਼ਟਲਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਬੈਡਮਿੰਟਨ ਇਕੱਠਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਛੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ, ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣਗੇ।
ਉਭਰਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਲਈ ₹15,000 ਅਤੇ ਉਪ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਲਈ ₹11,000 ਦੇ ਆਕਰਸ਼ਕ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਮਯੰਕ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਟੀਮ ਪੂਰੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਟੀਮ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਖ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

Mayank Foundation proudly announces the 8th Mayank Sharma Memorial Open Badminton Tournament – 2025, dedicated to honouring the sporting spirit and cherished memories of Mayank Sharma. The announcement was made under the guidance of Dr. Anirudh Gupta, President, Mayank Foundation, who shared his vision of making this edition one of the most vibrant sporting events of the region.
This prestigious tournament will be organised under the aegis of the District Badminton Association, Ferozepur, and is approved by the Punjab Badminton Association, ensuring high standards of professionalism and credibility.
The event is scheduled to take place on 25th, 26th & 27th December 2025 at Dass & Brown World School, Ferozepur, a venue known for its excellent sports infrastructure and supportive environment for young athletes.
The 2025 edition is expected to witness over 500 shuttlers from various North Indian states, making it one of the biggest badminton gatherings in the region. Players will compete across six different categories for Boys and Girls events, celebrating talent, discipline, and competitive spirit.
To encourage budding sportspersons, attractive cash prizes of ₹15,000 for Winners and ₹11,000 for Runners-up have been announced in each category.
A dedicated team of five Project Coordinators from Mayank Foundation will be managing the entire tournament. This team is working under the leadership of Sh. Rakesh Kumar, Founder Member, whose guidance continues to elevate the quality and reputation of the event.
