On tip-off, BSF seizes drone, heroin, light and torch from farmers’ field
Ferozepur, April 22, 2024: The Border Security Force – the first defence line of India – got a tip-off that some suspicious goods were lying in the field of Sher Singh Wala resident of Naun Behram in the Guruharsahai area.
On searching, one drone, 2.710 gm heroin, 1 small light ball and one small torch were found and taken in possession. Meanwhile a complaint, on the statement of Inspector Gopal Chand Dass, Coy Com A Co 160 Bn BSF BOP Naun Behram has been registered against the unknown person and booked under Sections 21 NDPS Act and 10/11/12 of Aircraft Act 1934. However, further investigations are on with Devinder Singh IO with a special focus on backward and forward links to crack the nexus between across-the-border suppliers and counterparts on the Indian side.
