12 drug pushers nabbed with heroin in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August 29, 2022: The Ferozepur police working actively to eradicate the drugs menace from the city have nabbed 12 drug pushers with 230 gm heroin from different locations in the district and booked under NDPS Act Sections 21/61/85 at the respective nearby police stations.
The accused identified are – Daljit Singh alias Raju of Kilche with 5 gm heroin, Vijay Kumar and Gurmit Singh of village Palla Megha with 50 gm heroin, Davinder Singh alias Gindhi and Saraj Singh with 20 gm heroin and one motorcycle, Sunny of Mallawalan with 10 gm heroin, Bhinder Singh alias Bhinda of village Juane of Zira with 15 gm heroin, Gurpreet Singh of KIK Zira with 10 gm heroin, Sarbjit Singh of Chotian Chakkian with 10 gm heroin, Manpreet Singh alias Manu of Pir Mohammad near Makhu and Amandeep Sinh alias Aman of Manjh wala near Maku with 100 gm heroin and one motorcycle and Mohit urf Latu of Ferozepur Cantt with 10 gm heroin.
In all the cases, IOs have been appointed to further investigate the matter with backward and forward criminal history of these arrested persons, to crack the supply the chain, to make drug free district, said police official.
