Two held for mobile, bike thefts in Ferozepur, seized 13 mobiles, 20 motorcycles

Ferozepur, June 29, 2022:  The Ferozepur police nabbed one mobile snatcher and stealing motorcycles and further selling, on getting a tip-off and recovered 13 mobiles and 20 motorcycles. The accused has been identified as Akash of Basti Shekhan Wali and Hira alias Hiri of Khai Pheme Ki.

Divulging with details, Mohit Dhawan, in charge City police station said, an in-put was received that two persons – Akash and Hira are waiting for the customer to sell the snatched mobiles and motorcycles. Working swiftly on the in-put, both were nabbed near Bajaj Dairy bushes and 13 mobile of branded companies and 20 motorcycles were recovred from them.

A case under Sections 379-B, 379, 411 of IPC has been registered at Ferozepur City police station.

Mohit Dhawan informed that during investigation after getting them on police remand by producing them in the court, more clues are expected to come on surface.   He further informed that Akash is already involved in 6 different ases of 2018, 2109, 2022 and 2021 under Sections 379 and 411 of IPC.
