BSF troops thwart attempt of anti-national elements, recover heroin

Ferozepur, April 2, 2021: Alert Border Security Force troops on Friday, seized one packet of contraband (approx- 0.480 GMs) suspected to be Heroin in the area of responsibility of  136 Bn BSF, Ferozepur Sector.

Vigilant troops of Border Security Force once again thwarted the attempt of Anti-National Elements to push consignment of contraband items into India.

During the year 2021, BSF has effected seizures on Punjab Border – heroin 125.066 kg including today’s seizure, 3 IndianBorder crossers apprehended, 11 Pak national apprehended, 2 Pak intruder killed, 6 weapons, 8 magazines, 146 ammunition of different types and calibers and 2 Pak mobile phones.
