Suwidha  Centres Employees protest for regularization entered 84th day – Dharna at Mohali on November 30

Ferozepur, November 29, 2016: Upset at the attitude of the Punjab Government, the protest by Suwidha Centres employees for regularization of their services entered 84th day at Lambi, the constituency of State Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.

The employees of Ferozepur today organized a protest march against the Punjab Government and entered the main bazaar by passing in front of the residence to Joginder Singh Jindu, MLA Rural.

Speaking to babushahi.com, Sanjeev Handa, Media Incharge and Vijay Gharu, General Secretary said, on the one hand the government converting the outsourcing employees in contractual system while the Suwidha Centre employees on contract basis are switching over to outsourcing which is not at all acceptable to them.

They said, the employees will also sit on dharna at Mohali on November 30.

Giving a warning to the government, they said, in case the notification to regularize them is not issued, the agitation will be further intensified.

Added here, during the course of their protest, the strikers even resorted to begging in Chandigarh.
