Ferozepur, November 16, 2015:  The SAD-BJP government failed on all fronts has started atrocities on innocent Congress workers in haste putting them in jails, by registering false cases.

These views were expressed by Satkar Kaur Gehri, District Chairperson SC while holding a meeting at her residence.

Earlier the ruling party was seen on the ‘backfoot’ because of sacrilege incidents in the state but now in  a planned manner is using the issue against the opposition leaders. Few days back, in the sacrilege incident at Nazu Shah Mishriwala, the six person reported to have been sent to jail after arresting them and all belongs to Congress party, out of which four are students.  All this is being seen as ‘Check and Mate’  move in view of coming 2017 Assembly elections.

Gehri said, the Congress District General Secretary have been sent to jail under political enmity by registering a case against 70 unidentified persons under murderous case which shows the blustering behavior of the government.

Despite bringing this to the notice of police chief, no action has so far been initiated to release the arrested youths, she added.

Announcing the protest against the anti-people attitude of the government, she said, in the event of non-release of arrested persons, a protest will be organized on November 18 by the Ferozepur rural Congress workers and Rahul Gandhi will also be apprised about the whole issue by visiting Delhi on November 19.

On this occasion, Congress workers from various blocks were present.
