Ferozepur, February 16, 2016 ; Today one days’ seminar was organized with the initiative of Manoj Singh and Mohinder Singh Singhal Education and Research Society (Regd.) with Malti Gyan Peeth Puraskar-2016 at local Dev Samaj College of Education in a very simple and impressive ceremony.
Jagsir Singh Awa District Education Officer (SS) was the Chief Guest at the function organized under the tutelage of Rajesh Mehta, District Science Supervisor and Balwinder Kaur Cheema, Principal Dev Samaj College of Education.
The award conferring ceremony was attended by about 200 teachers from various schools of the district.
Giving this information, Deepak Sharma, Nodal Officer said, every year 15 renowned teachers are hooured with Malti Gyan Peeth Puraskar.
Gurcharan Singh, Admin of the Society and Dr.Amardeep Kaur put wiser the teachers participated in the Seminar about the terms and conditions for qualifying for the award.
Rajesh Mehta, DSS in his address said, the word Guru is made from Gu and Ru which means to take the human being out of the inner darkness.
Present among others on this occasion were, Dharinder Sachdeva, RMSA Coordinator, Sandeep Kamboj, District Guidance Councilor, Dr.Anita Dhawan, Dr.Rajwinder, Lakhwinder Singh, District Vocational Coordinator, Inderjit Kalsi, Kamal Sharma, Science Master, Kapil Sanan, and Sandeep Sehgal.
