SCERT Punjab to conduct State Level NTSE for 10th Class during November
Last date for submission of online form is August 31,2016
Ferozepur, August 4, 2016 : The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) will conduct the State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for Class X on November 6, 2016 to select 99 students to appear in National Level NTSE by NCERT on May 14, 2017.
Giving this information, Viay Garg, Lecturer from Malout dedicated to guide the students for pursuing higher education and decide about their future career said, the students studying in 10th Class in State Govt, Kendriya Vidaylas, Navodaya Vidalyas or any other recognized / affiliated schools, situated in Punjab securing minimum70 per cent marks for genralcategory, 55 percent for SC/ST or physically challenged students in 9th Class annual examination will be eligible to appear in NTSE tests.
Garg further said, the medium of examination shall be English and Punjabi & admission forms can be filled on school login id at Education Department portal www.epunjabschool.gov.in from 5.8.2016 to 30.9.2016. However, as per National Reservation norm, there will be 15% reservations for S.C, 7.5% for S.T & 3% for physically challenged group of candidates.
He further informed that no admission fee is charged from students for this examination.
