SAD’s Workers Milan Samaroh in Ferozepur, Capt doing dirty politics over Justice Ranjit Singh Commission
Ferozepur January 28, 2019: Thousands of Shiromani Akali Dal workers were present at ‘Workers Milan Samaroh’ organized at Ferozepur and Sukhbir Singh Badal, former Deputy Chief Minister and President Shiromani Akali Dal met the workers of different blocks, from table to table. The workers were seen busy in having selfie and group photo session with Sukhbir Badal than interaction over the local or personal issues. Even the press conference could not be held at the designated place and a brief address was held in the open. It looked more a photo session than interaction with the workers.
Capt Amarinder Singh CM is doing a dirty politics over Justice Ranjit Singh Commission. Over the arrest of former SSP Moga, Charanjit Sharma – who allegedly headed a team of cops that opened fire on a crowd protesting incidents of sacrilege at Behbal Kalan on October 14, 2015 – Sukhbir Badal said, “Whosoever has violated the laws, he should be prosecuted. But the government should not play politics”.
He said, Captain Amarinder Singh has always played politics. Even the Ranjit Singh Commission is also a politics. High Court has said, Ranjit Singh Commission findings are not valid. They have no evidence and directed the SIT not to depend on them and for two years the government has done nothing.
On asking about the rally at Zira on Jan. 29 and Kulbir Singh Zira has challenged you for the dope test for which a five-member team has also been constituted by the Civil Surgeon, on the directions of Health Minister to be available outside the place of a rally – Sukhbir Badal very casually said, Who is Zira? I am not aware. They should go ahead with the dope test of which they want.
In other words, Sukhbir Badal avoided replying to five questions raised by Kulbir Zira MLA Congress from Zira before coming to his constituency.
To another query, Sukhbir said, whatever projects they (Congress government) were rejecting are now appreciating including the BRT – Bus Rapid Transit – Scheme which has been reintroduced after two years. Earlier, they had said that Virasat-E-Khalsa is a White Elephant and now they say, it is No.1 institution.
Attacking on Congress government, he said except registration of cases, uprooting and harassing the people, to demoralize them, they have done nothing. Loan waving off is a fraud. Congress government has promised to waive of Rs.80,000 crore but a very meagre amount of loans have been waived off. No development. It’s a Zero government.
