Robbers loot cash in broad daylight in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, July 5, 2018: In a daring daylight heist, two unidentified armed robbers on motor-cycle looted Rs.1.40 lac cash from a private company employee.

As per the information, the incident took place near Central Jail, Ferozepur City.

Giving this information, Pankaj Sharma resident of Kasuri Gate, Ferozepur City said, he works in CMS company and he deals with withdrawing and depositing the cash with the banks and private institutions.

He said, today in the afternoon at about 1 pm, he was going on his bike to deposit cash in a private bank on Baghi Road in Ferozepur City when two unidentified youths armed with weapons snatched his cash bag containing Rs.1.44 lac by threatening with a pistol. 

An intimation to this effect was given in the City police station.  The police is investigating in to the case after recording the statement of victim Pankaj.
