RO lodged FIR against AAP  leaders and workers  in Ferozepur for holding rally without permission on Kejriwal’s visit

Ferozepur, January 19, 2017:  The Returning Officer-cum-SDM, Ferozepur 076 Ferozepur Urban constituency – Harjit Singh Sandhu – today lodged FIR against AAP leaders and workers for holding rally on the visit of Arvind Kejriwal at Udham Singh Chowk connected with busy roads where about dozens of banks are located, without the specific permission.

According to RO, the permission to hold the rally was rejected vide his orders No.255-559 dated 19-01-2017 but in violation of these orders, the rally was organized causing hindrance in the movement of traffic.

A case has been registered under No.14/19-01-2017 at police station Ferozepur City – a crime under section 283 IPC  – Danger or obstruction in public way or line of navigation and has been marked to Balwinder Singh ASI for further investigation into the matter.

Narinder Singh Sandha could not be contacted despite calling to get his version in this regard.
