Ferozepur, December 20, 2015:  Resentment prevailed among the candidates appeared in Punjab Teachers Eligibility Test(TET) over wrong printing in column number 7 on the answer sheet.

In the recently conducted Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) by the Punjab Government for recruitment of teachers in the Punjab Education Department, under strict supervision and due care, a mistake has been pointed out by the candidates appeared in the test, in column number 7 of  the answer sheet.

As per the information, in the answer sheet, series number and set number was printed whereas in the answer sheet, set number was to be filled the candidates. In the answer sheet, series number has been published in place of set number. Due to this mistake, certain candidates instead of writing set number 1,2,3,4 have filled up only number 2.  This mistake has been committed by number of candidates.

Sat Pal Singh who appeared in the test informed that he too has committed this mistake in the answer sheet and later on, on coming to know of the mistake, he asked for correcting fluid from the examiner,  which was declined with the plea that it is a minor mistake.

Sat Pal Singh has demanded from the Punjab Government to correct this mistake in future.

He further informed that he has also given a feedback on the website of the Punjab School Education Board.

Charanjit Singh Chhanga Rai, State President, All India Students Federation and Paramjit Singh Dhaban, National President, Sarb Bharat Naujavan Sabha have demanded that the students should not face the consequences on account of mistake in printing by the Board and it should be rectified in the tests to be conducted in future.
