Rashtriya Swadeshi Suraksha Abhiyan gets momentum in Punjab

Ferozepur, August 2, 2017:  Rashtriya Rashtriya Swadeshi Suraksha Abhiyan is getting momentum throughout India, with the new indirect tax regime –GST – Goods Service Tax – to badly hit and negative impact on small industries and push Chinese imports due to a slump in domestic production and losing of jobs by the people in rural areas.

The RSSA workers of Ferozepur Unit have started contacting the people door-to-door to convince to discourage the Chinese products and distributing pamphlets with facts and figures about China which is big challenge for India.

In 1962, China captured 37,500 sq km of Saichen and in 1963, Pakistan handed over Pakistan Occupied Kashmir – PoK land of 5180 sq km to China. Not only this, China is also claiming over India’s 90,000 sq km of Ladakh and Arunachal. The attacks on India are increasing since few years and working on the policy of Sting of Pearls by increasing its business and India’s economy is flowing into China.

The local unit of RSSA led by Sarbjeet Sharma, Bittu Bhall and Bittu Sharma has started a campaign in the city to boycott the Chinese products so that people could get job with the start of production of required items in our own country.

Talking to Babushahi.com, Sarbjeet Sharma said, during the past few years, India has been the biggest purchaser of Chinese product with estimates claiming that 75 per cent of the major products we consume coming from China which continues to flex its muscles and is trying to intimidate India over Doklam.

The cheap products from China have a direct impact on the small industry in India and RSSA is doing the  job of creating a pressure on the government to boycott the import of Chinese products and encourage the small industries of our own country to generate employment for the youths under Skill India programme, said Sarbjeet Sharma.

He further said, the only way to hit back is boycott the use of Chinese products.  Once this happens, China will he hit economically and all notions it has of any superiority over India will be vanished, he added.

Sharma said, the initiative by RSSA could only be possible if the entire country stay together and work to throw out Chinese products.

The day is not far when we will utilize the heavy youth workforce available in the country to make the self-dependent, he said confidently.
