Railways refund Rs.53.65 lacs to 12,300 passengers due cancellation of trains

Ferozepur, August 23, 2021:  Due to on-going agitation of farmers in Ferozepur division over an increase of Sugarcane MSP at Jalandhar, the railways have returned Rs.53.65 lacs to around 12,300 passengers from August 20 4 p to August 23 11 am.

Added here, in Punjab more than 100 trains have been cancelled, diverted and short terminated in view of blocking of Jalandhar-Chaheru Section of Ferozepur Division.
