On 25th Anniversary, Manvta Pubic Sr. Sec. School organizes Annual Prize Distribution function
Ferozepur November 3, 2018: Fulfilling and continuing with the dream her father by entering the legacy of the educational institution in its 25th Anniversary, Manvta Public Sr. Sec. School organized Annual Prize Distribution function under the tutelage of Principal Sapna Dhawan daughter of Late Kulwant Rai Dhawan, founder of the School.
Apart from distribution of prizes to the shining students who have excelled in various events during the year, the school students presented a colourful programme on 25th Annual celebrations of the school on social evils like female foeticide, patriotism, songs, choreography, traditional gidhha and bhangra.
The celebrations were inaugurated by SDM Amit Gupta by lightening the lamp along with President Beopar Mandal, Chander Mohan Handa by paying floral tributes to the founder. Besides CJM Baljnder Singh Mann,Harinder Singh Khosa, -brother of Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA, Gautam Kumar, Ajay Joshin, Gurinder Singh Brar, AEO School Sports, Punshpinder Paul Sharma, SHO, Dr.C.M.Dhall, Handa, especially joined the programme.
Later in the afternoon session, G.S.Multani, ADC, Nek Singh DEO Secondary honoured by resenting the token of love to students and staff members for their contribution in the field of education besides the management members and prominent personalities of the city.
Speaking on the occasion, G.S.Multani said, it’s my pleasure to be a part of this function and happy that Sapna – daughter of the founder of the school – is continuing with the dream of her father to impart education to the students. Because of her dedication and devotion, it is a clear message to the society to shun the menace of female foeticide that there is no difference between boy and girl .
Concluding the function, Sapna thanked all the guests, staff for making the programme a grand success.
