NRI contributes in Self Smart School Campaign, donates various items
Ferozepur, December 4, 2019: Under the Self Smart School Campaign of the Punjab Education Department, NRI Satnam Singh Gill along with his family members visited Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Valoor to donate the needy items at a simple and impressive ceremony. NRI Satnam Singh Gill is the brother of Dr.Kuldip Singh Gill
The items donated uniform, sweater, shoes, harmonium, inverter as per requirement of the school.
Dr.Kuldip Singh Gill and Satnam Singh speaking on the occasion said, it is our privilege to contribute something for the students so that they may feel comfortable in their studies and extra curricular activities.
They said, while the education plays a vital role in solving the problems in life, it also attaches you with with society. Education is the only property which no one can snatch from you and this tool saves you from the clutches of time at every moment.
They are feeling pleasures by visiting the school and contributing something for the students and assured to help in future also by extending the health facilities also. They appealed to the students to concentrate on their studies as school teachers, parents and Principal nation had high expectations from them for overall development of the society.
Poonam Kalra thanked the NRI family for helping the school and motivating them. Dr.Rajinder Machanda, SMO, CHC Mamdot also thanked Dr.Gill and his NRI brother.
