Nannu gets warm welcome in Ferozepur on becoming President, Kissan Morcha Punjab BJP – a show of strength
Ferzepur, July 28, 2016: Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former CPS was given a warm welcome in Ferozepur on his induction as Punjab President, Kissan Morcha, by thousands of his supporters and well-wishers, in the recently announced team by Punjab BJP President, Vijay Sampla.
Nannu garlanded on this occasion and was taken in a procession in the Road Rally on tractors and motorcycles and it looked to be a show of strength to become claimant for the coming Assembly elections.
Speaking on this occasion, Nannu said, “He will perform his duty bestowed on him by the party, sincerely and honestly. He will not forget the love and affection extended to him by the people of Ferozepur. The BJP party has given him the responsibility of Kissan Morcha and he assured to solve each problem of the farmers by taking up the matter at the Centre level.
Added here, Sukhpal Singh Nannu had earlier won from BJP seat for three consecutive years and during the last elections, he lost to Congress candidate Parminder Singh Pinky.
Earlier it was seen that there had been controversy going on between Kamal Sharma, former Punjab BJP President and Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former CPS and had been seen opposing each other. But today in the road show van, the photograph of Kamal Sharma was also seen among the BJP leaders.
The impact of all these sudden changes while organizing rally, could only be known in the coming days when the candidate from Ferozepur announced for contesting the elections from Ferozepur and support from other local leaders.
