Life Saver Society and WAIC jointly arrange Blood Donation Camp in DAC Complex Ferozepur
Feroepur, June 27, 2019: Blood Donation Camp was arranged in the District Administrative Complex (DC Office) jointly by Life Saver Society and Way Ahead Immigration Corporation – WAIC with association of a team of Civil Hospital. Chander Gaind, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur inaugurated the camp. In all 36 units of blood were deposited in the Blood Bank of Civil Hospital.
Appreciating the initiative of Life Saver Society and WAIC, Deputy Commissioner said, the blood is not manufactured in any factory, it is the only human-being who can safely donate his blood for the needy patient.
It is matter of proud that 35 units blood was donated by the males while one unit was given by female. The blood transfusion which is an important part of day-to-day clinical practice and the blood deposited in the Civil Hospital will be given to the patients on his clinical need basis when required, said DC.
On this occasion, Ranjit Singh, Assistant Commissioner(G), Harjinder Singh, DDPO, J.S.Sodhi, President, Life Saver Society, WAIC MD Rahul Kakkar, A.C.Chawla, Sahil Arora, Sania and Arzoo were present.
