KL Memorial Society produces 300 skilled workforce of Carpenters
Ferozepur, July 23, 2017: With the support of Government of India, the Kundan Lal Memorial Society produces 300 skilled workforces of Carpenters by giving them training under the Skill Development Scheme of Pradhan Manti Kaushl Vikash Yojana (PMKVY) with availability of work-based subsidy loans to become self-dependent.
Kamal Sharma, Member National Executive BJP and former President, Punjab BJP was the chief guest of the function for distribution of pass-out certificates – Recognition of Prior Learning – RPL – to the trained workers in Carpentry as strong, sustainable and balance growth in the development of the country to work as bridges between world of work and needs of small and big enterprises.
Kamal Sharma wished for the bright future of the workers. He said for these skilled workers, work-based subsidy loans are also made available by the government to encourage them so they may not feel discouraged and falter in their life.
He said, it is the Punjabis who have tried their hands with skills and highlighted the name of their own areas rather generating employment for others by starting their own business with skill.
