NCC Cadets organize Blood Donation Camp, shortly to launch ‘One Cadet, One Plant’ drive
Ferozepur, July 5,2019: Under the aegis of 13 Punjab Bn NCC Ferozepur Unit will shortly launch ‘One Cadet, One Plant’ drive to promote green cover in Ferozepur.
Meanwhile, a Seminar on Blood Donation and Cancer Awareness was conducted at NCC Academy Malout under the aegis of 13 Punjab Bn NCC, Ferozepur during the seminar were Blood donation lecture and Rally.
Lecture on Cancer awareness was conducted by Dr.Kamna and Dr.Simarnjeet Singh Smag to make the cadets and citizens aware about the precaution and safety against Cancer.
A total of 312 Cadets attended the seminar and rally and 20 Units of Blood was donated to the Red Cross Society, Malout. Apart from all the activities, a mega plantation derive is going to be launched by the NCC. The drive has been given the name ‘One cadet One Plant’, under which each cadet of NCC will plant one sapling during monsoon.
