Husband, wife among four booked with heroin in separate incidents

Ferozepur February 16, 2019:  The Ferozepur police in three different cases have arrested three persons including one woman with heroin while one is absconding.

As per the information, two cases were booked at Mallanwala police station under NDPS Act against on the complaint of Tarlochan Singh and Paramjit Singh of Narcotic Cell of Mallanwala police station against Satpal Singh of village Mallwanwala. While Suchha Singh with the recovery of 10 gm heroin and Satplal Singh with the recovery of 100 gm heroin have been arrested.

In the third case registered at Mamdot under NDPS Act against Kamlesh Kaur and Wazir Singh of Dhani Lakhmir Ke Hittar under Mamdot police station.  Kamlesh Kaur was arrested with the recovery of 80 gm heroin while her husband Wazir Singh is yet to be arrested.

IOs in all the three cases informed that the investigations are still on to ascertain the links of drug peddlers with the suppliers.
