Ferozepur, September 7, 2019: The Bandh Call by Valmiki community on having conrovesty over screening of TV serial ‘Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush’ has got a partial response.

 

Valmiki Outfits thanked Punjab Govt. for ordering the suspension of telecast of TV serial ‘Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush in the State.  But they have demanded the ban from Sattelite for all the viewers.  

 

They are protesting against the controversy over the TV serial Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush being telecast by Color TV, three times a day, hurting the religious sentimes, by screening the wrong facts about Bhagwan Valmikiji.

During a round of the city it was observed that there is a partial response to the Bandh Call by the Valmiki community for today.  However, as precautionary measures certain schools have been closed while the shops were seen half-opened.  The traffic on the roads was normal so far.  In the meantime, the police have made elaborate security arrangements in the city to prevent any untoward incident, during the rally or protest by the Valmiki Outfits.  

 

Pippal Sahota, spokespersons of Valmiki community when contacted, thanked the Punjab Government and District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur for issuing the orders banning the telecast of serial in the district. He has even condemned the viral of video from Jalandhar for withdrawing the call.  

 

However, the call for Bundh has not been withdrawan as our demand is to ban the telecast of serial from the channel end for all the viewers in the world.
