Health Deptt intensifies COVID tests, takes samples of 80 persons working on shops
Ferozepur, May 6, 2021 : In the wake of surge in Covid positive cases in the district, the health department has intensified the Covid testing and medical team took the samples of 80 persons working on the shops inside the main Delhi Gate in the city, said Harvinder Singh, Food Safety Officer.
He said, the sampling has been done, by a team of health department of Sarbajit Singh, Premjit Singh , Shagun Shrma and Veer Partap Singh, to put a check on the spread of coronavirus in the city so that the positive persons could be isolated as per the guidelines of the government.
FSO advised the people to come forward for Covid test at the civil hospital which is free of cost, on noticing cough, cold, fever or difficulty in breathing and should not fall prey to rumours. Meanwhile, all must continue to follow the guidelines issued by the Punjab government and health department to contribute to stop further spread of virus.
