Ferozepur police nab 14 persons with heroin, illicit liquor recovery in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, September 5, 2023: In its campaign against anti-social elements involved in drug trade, the Ferozepur police today arrested 14 persons with drugs, illegal liquor, vehicles, mobiles, purse and ATM cards.
Divulging with details, SP Randhir Kumar said, with an aim to snub the anti-social elements and unscrupulous persons, every effort is being made by the Ferozepur police, under the tutelage of gazetted officers by the teams constituted for the purpose by conducting the raids, putting up the nakas.
Under this campaign, the swift action by the Ferozepur Sadar, Mamdot, Kulgarhi, Ghall Khurd, Talwandi Bhai and Lakho Ke Behram teams got success, with the arrest of 14 persons with recovery of 233 gm heroin, 35 bottles of illegal liquor, two motorcycles, one kappa and one mobile phone, said SP(D).
He said,our camapaign against drugs is a sacred campaign to save the future generations and to keep the society safe and peaceful. The campaign against the drug peddlers, anti-social elements will be continued in future also, as per the directions of the SSP, to see drug-free place at all levels as its usage not only ruins the future generations but also affects national security.
