Gurbhej Tibbi National Secretary AIYC stakes claim for Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat
Ferozepur February 6, 2019 (Harish Monga) : Gurbhej Singh Tibbi, National Secretary, All India Youth Congress – AIYC – Secretary has submitted his claim to contest Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat, out of youth quota.
Gurbhej Tibbi submitted his papers to Capt Sandeep Singh Sandhu, Punjab Congress General Secretary and OSD to CM Punjab at
PPCC office Chandigarh.
Gurbhej Singh Tibbi born on April 2, 1983, belonging to a middle-class family of Kamboj community is active in youth congress since 2001 holding various positions as a youth Congress leader and presently holding the position of National Secretary, Indian Youth Congress Incharge Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat since 2018. Besides, he is also representing about ten professional, social and charitable organizations. Gurbhej Tibbi has good standing in his community and is the loveable leader of the youths.
Speaking to the media persons, Gurbhej Tibbi confidently said: “Ferozepur constituency has a good number Kamboj community representation and I being from Kamboj community, can win the Ferozepur Lok Sabha seat easily”.
Tibbi said, he is working day and night for the Congress party for the last about two decades and dedicated to the party as a permanent soldier.
The Kamboj community candidates have a direct impact on 24 seats in the Lok Sabha seats and Congress had been winning on these seats supported with our group of people, Tibbi added. Claiming on this analogy, Tibbi said, at least one or two seats should be kept for Kamboj society.
Making an appeal to Congress President Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Wadra, State President Sunil Jakhar, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh to consider his name for Lok Sabha seat out of youth quota from Ferozepur, Tibbi said, he is sure to win the Lok Sabha seat.
