Five booked in stone-pelting incident on Shatabdi Express
Ferozepur, January 16, 2022: Taking timely and prompt action, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has booked five persons in the stone-pelting incident on Shatabdi Express on January 15.
Divulging with details, the railway officials said, on Jan. 15, Shatabdi Express (12013) left Jalandhar at around 9.32 pm for Amritsar when there was the incident of stone-pelting from yard side local area. The RPF Jalandhar City swung into action and rush towards the local area adjacent to the railway yard from where stones were pelted.
While three persons – Ritik Verma, Rgavand and Deepak Kushwaha were nabbed, another two were identified revealed during the interrogation of internal rivalry between two anti-social gangs of local are Qqzimandi near Jalandhar Ashwani alias Kalia and Vicky were also arrested from their bide out. Another one accomplice Lucky is absconding and will be nabbed shortly.
