Ferozepur witnesses reverse trend with 6 Corona +ve cases reporting
Ferozepur, October 11, 2020: The Ferozepur district has started witnessing reverse trend in Covid cases reporting as today only six positive cases have been reported.
Contrary to the pattern prior to three weeks back, the district has registered only six cases today with one death and one recovery.
As per the reports, 46,374 samples including 357 of today, were taken for testing coronavirus, out of which 42,554 are negative, 4008 positive, 3564 recovered, 331 active cases and results of 251 cases are still awaited. One death reported is of 66 year male of Ferozshah block in the district.
On the reverse trend, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur said, Covid-19 is a communicable disease and the reverse trend witnessing with a nominal number of positive cases is a good sign. He made an appeal to the citizens to maintain this status by taking precautionary measures as per the medical protocol of the health department. He added that the virus transmission is unpredictable and everyone has to strictly follow the restrictions strictly.
