Ferozepur police unfolded the mystery of blind murder from accused murdered 6 family members of migrant labourers
Ferozepur, April 2, 2015 : The Ferozepur police claimed to have cracked another mystery of blind murder from the accused arrest press conference arrested in murdering six members of a family of migrant labourers.
Addressing the media persons, Hardial Singh Mann, IPS, SSP, Ferozepur informed that accused 1) Wakeel Singh s/o Hardev Singh r/o Ward No.12, New Water Works Talwandi Bhai and his companion 2) Jaspreet Singh s/o Preetam Singh r/o Talwandi Nipala Police Station Makhu for murdering 06 members of migrant family.
During the investigation the accused revealed that in January-2014, they also murdered Paramjeet Kaur d/o Nachhatar Singh r/o Ward No.06, Talwandi Bhai by strangling her to death and after that they tied her dead body with stone and threw the same to River Rajasthan Feeder.
Further, Sh. Mann informed that on 01.04.2015, Nachhater Singh s/o Tara Singh r/o Ward No.06, Talwandi Bhai informed SI Dilbagh Singh SHO Ghall Khurd that his son Sukhmander Singh and Wakeel Singh were friends. In this way, Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh came to his house frequently with his son Sukhmandar Singh. Nachhater Singh also revealed that his daughter Paramjeet Kaur who used to do household chores. Wakeel Singh developed illicit relationships with her daughter Paramajeet Kaur. In the Month of January-2014 before the Lohari Celebration, Paramjeet Kaur made excuses and silently ran away with Wakeel Singh. Due to fear of humiliation, family members of Nachhatar Singh never informed anyone that Paramjeet Kaur had run away with Wakeel Singh. They also felt that Wakeel Singh and Paramjeet Kaur were residing somewhere as husband and wife. But some days before Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh were arrested in connection with murdering a family of migrant laborers and they also took a girl of the same family with them. Thereafter, they murdered her and threw her dead body to the river Rajasthan Feeder. So they doubted that Paramjeet Kaur might also be murdered by them and disposed off the dead body of the victim. In this connection, FIR No.46 dated 01.04.2015 under section 302/201/34 IPC PS Ghall Khurd got registered against Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh and both were arrested.
During investigation Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh confessed that Wakeel Singh was having illicit relationship with Paramjit Kaur who later blackmailed Wakeel Singh and she always demanded money from Wakeel Singh. In the month of January-2014 before the Lohari Celebration, Wakeel Singh called Paramjeet Kaur to Talwandi Bhai at about 5:30 PM. They went at Bangali Wala Bridge where Jaspreet Singh was already present on the spot. At night Wakeel Singh and Jaspreet Singh murdered by pressing throat of Paramjit Kaur and then they tied stone with her dead body and threw her dead body to river Rajasthan Feeder.
