Ferozepur police held 2 persons with 2 kg heroin
Ferozepur, October 15, 2023: The Ferozepur police recovered 2 kg heroin under its anti-drug drive in the district with the arrest of two persons.
Divulging with the details, SSP Deepak Hillori said, “During the routing patrolling by the CIA staff on the outer area of Ferozepur under Sadar police station, a tip-off from police informer was received that three persons namely Rajdeep Singh alias Raju, Harjinder Singh of village Alike and Amrik Singh alias Sema of village Bare Ke are doing the heroin smuggling trade at a large scale and even today, Rajdeep Singh and Amrik Singh are coming on without number Splendor motorcycle and they can be caught red handed after putting up a naka near canal of old Bare Ke.
Randhir Kumar SP (D) said, the polic teams working swiftly on the input, both Rajdeep Singh and Amrik Singh were nabbed by the police CIA team with 2 kg heroin. A case under NDPS Act Sections 21/61/85 has registered at Sadar police station and the hunt is on to arrest the third accomplice Harjinder Singh. Further investigation is on with Jajpal Singh, IO with special focus on, backward and forward links of these accused and their involvement in other criminal cases.
