Ferozepur: COVID-19 +ve cases fluctuate, but stay below 100

49 new COVID+ve cases, one deaths and 122 recoveries

Ferozepur, June 13, 2021: The number of Covid-19 positive cases has been fluctuating in the district but below hundred for the last few days. On Sunday 49 new Covid positive cases, 1 deaths and 122 recoveries have been reported.

There is need to maintain this status by following Covid appropriate behavior appeals the health department official.

As per the report, 1,92,070 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,78,084 were tested negative, 13,681 positive, 12,703 recovered, 539 active cases.

With one death of 68 years old man in Guruharsahai block, the death tally has gone to 438 in the district.

With lifting of restrictions from 5 micro containment zones in the district, 28 – three containment and 25 micro containment zones are still under observation of the health department.

The Black Fungus ten cases have been reported in the district, out of which, t, with seven under treatment in this hospitals, 2 cured and one dead.
