Ferozepur born Mandeep is not less than stunts of Super Street Bikers
While riding a motorcycle is great fun, doing tricks with it is more fun. Super Street Bike is the authority on custom street bike stunts, learning how to wheelie, stoppies and all kinds of streetbike stunts all over the world.
But Mandeep Singh of border town Ferozepur is not less than SSBs in performing stunts on his 1973 model, 44 year old Bullet.
Mandeep Singh, born on June 16, 1990, a BA final year student in Guru Nanak College, Ferozepur Cantt and a son of Gurmel Singh father working as Havaldar in Punjab Police and Jagjit Kaur mother is fond of doing stunts on motorcycle.
He has number of awards to his credit for his driving by standing on the seat of the motorcycle and this time, Mandeep Singh gave his performance on 71st Independence Day celebrations by standing on a ladder fitted on this motor cycle.
Talking to Babushahi.com, he said, “I started practicing on motorcycle stunt since 2007 and now I can maintain the balance while standing on the bike in motion.
Now I plan to drive motorcycle on the road leading to Hussainiwala Martyrs Memorial on the birthday celebrations of Shaheed Bhagat Singh on September 30.
He, however, appealed to the youths not to do these stunts without proper practice and guidance.
He gives credit to Rattan Singh and Gurpreet Singh who are doing bike stunts and treat them as his ‘Ustadd’.
When asked about the number of stunts he could perform, he said, so far he can drive bike without putting hands on the handle by sitting and standing on either sides, by making a fish with open hands and legs.
Because of poor road conditions, he could drive from Ferozepur to Machhibugra near Talwandi in one go with standing on the seat.
Mandeep proudly shared the 1973 model, around 44 years old of Bullet he is using since 2010 purchased from one Davinder Singh of Khai with a fancy number of PUK 0700 – registered from Faridkot.
I love my bike too much and clean it daily and also maintain it for any wear and tear immediately for getting the best performance, he added.
Mandeep however cursed the administrations and leaders for not recognizing his art for laurels to border town Ferozepur.
When asked as to why you do these stunts being risky to your life, he said, initially I was reluctant to do so but now I have a full control over the motion of the bike by fixing the accelerator to normal and uniform speed suitable to my controlling. It is daring to do stunts which needs full concentration of mind.
He said, in case he is supported by the government by providing him a small job, he can perform more daring stunts.
Mandeep wants Bullet Company or some corporate house to sponsor me for my performance on various official and unofficial events to keep alive my hobby and to highlight the name of this border town at the global level.
