DC Ferozepur gives tips to aspirant students to crack UPSC exam

Ferozepur, June 14, 2022: A seminar to guide the students who aspire to crack UPSC to join premier services was organized by the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) which was presided over by Amrit Singh, Deputy Commissioner, and newly appointed IPS, Umesh Goyal (earlier BDPO with Punjab Government), who shared valuable tips with the aspiring civil servants during a motivational session.

The workshop witnessed the participation of students from schools and colleges and he exhorted the participants to put in efforts to put up a good fight, considering the level of competition.

The newly-appointed IPS Officer Umesh Goyal, who was serving as a BDPO in Punjab Government, was the chief guest during the occasion.

Welcoming the aspirant students to crack civil services, DC Amrit Singh asked all the students to work hard and keep in touch with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) for all kinds of assistance with career guidance and placements for preparing the students for UPSC so that in future a large number of IAS, IPS, IFS can be prepared from the border district.

Competition is high in civil services and hard work plays an important role in cracking the exams. One must be dedicated to achieving their goal,” said DC.

Keynote speaker, Umeh Goyal interacted with and guided the students and shared his valuable tips about how to prepare for the test. He said that in order to do any work we first have to prepare ourselves fully and make ourselves so much capable that we do not deviate from our goal in spite of millions of difficulties. He shared his personal experience as to how he kept preparing for the coveted UPSC services even after joining the state government as BDPO. He also answered the questions of the students in a very positive and detailed manner.

On behalf of the aspirant students, Mannat thanked the dignitaries and requested the Deputy Commissioner to conduct such seminars in the future also, so that they would be guided throughout about the right path for a brighter future. She said, in order to achieve any goal, one has to prepare oneself first. With hard work, determination, honesty, and fidelity man can achieve everything in life.

On this occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner (G), Amit Mahajan also guided the children and wished them a bright future.

Gurjant Singh Placement Officer, Navdeep Asija Training and Placement Manager, Manjit Kaur Manager, PSDM, Raj Kumar, and Dr.Gurpal Singh Rana DCM were present on the occasion.
