CI nabs two drug smugglers with Rs.20 crore heroin
Ferozepur, January 19, 2020: The Counter Intelligence staff arrested two drug smugglers with four packets of heroin having Rs.20 cr value in the international market from Mamdot village near Ferozepur.
Giving this information, Ajay Maluja, AIG, CI said, the drug smugglers have brought five packets from Masta Gatti on 6th and 7th and one kg heroin has further supplied to someone. They were arrested with Swift Car with Delhi registration number.DL 9C AB 4693.
He further said, out of five packets, four have been recovered from the identified smugglers as Satnam Singh and Gurpreet Singh Gora and further investigations are on. He said, Satnam Singh is already facing number of drug cases in Punjab at Moga, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Patiala and Tarn Taran districts and is presently on bail from High Court.
Added here, during the last few days, the security agencies have recovered huge consignments of heroin.
