BSP to hold Mega Rally on Marcg 15 at Nawanshar on Kanshi Ram's birth anniversary
Ferozepur, February 17, 2016 : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has decided to hold Mega Rally at Nawanshehar on March 15 on birth anniversary of Kanshi Ram and there is possibility of announcing of contesting the coming elections in 2017 in alliance with Congress or not.
This was disclosed today by National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha Meber, Narinder Kashyap and BSP State President Avtar Singh Karimpuri while speaking to the media persons at local Circuit House.
Narinder Kashyap said, BSP is going to organize Mega Rally at Nawanshahar on March 15 on the birthday anniversary of Kanshi Ram wherein Mayawati will also participate. He said, the BSP rally in Punjab will create a new history in the politics of Punjab.
He further said, the duties to the party workers have been assigned in all the 22 districts alongwith 117 assemble constituencies.
Talking about the anti-incumbency movement in Punjab against Akali-BJP, he said, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is likely to get maximum benefit out of it.
Avtar Singh Karimpur State President said, for the last one and half year, BSP is continuously organizing programmes to strengthen the party and this is the reason that all categories of people are associating with them.
The people of Punjab are fed up from Akali-BJP party and they want change. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has been ignored by the people because of its poor performance in Delhi and people are keeping itself away from the Congress. In such circumstances, the BSP will come up as leading party, he added.
He said, None of theclass – farmers, labour, dalit etc. – have been benefitted during the last 9 years tenure of sworn alliance of Akali-BJP rather corruption, drug addiction, inflation and unemployment has increased to greater extent making it difficult for the common man to survive.
