BSF hands over Pakistani juvenile to Pak Rangers in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 2, 2022: A Pakistani juvenile who had inadvertently crossed over to the Indian side was handed over to the Pakistan Rangers, on humanitarian grounds, by the BSF on Friday, officials said. Nothing objectionable was recovered from him.
The Pakistani national, a juvenile, 3 years of age, was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel from the Ferozepur sector in Punjab at the international border on Friday evening around 7.15 pm.
The alert border guards on duty saw the movement of the child and allowed him to come forward. The child was not able to tell his name or address, as he was very young, only the word ‘PAPA’ was coming out of his mouth. He was very scared. The border guards provided him with food and drink. Without delay, established an affiliation with the Pak Ranger and introduced a estranged child to his family.
