Ferozepur: Police solves Zira snatching caset within 48 hrs, 2 arrested
Ferozepur, March 9, 2022: The Ferozepur police claimed to have solved the cash snatching case within 48 hrs by arresting two persons.
Divulging with details, SSP Ferozepur, Dr.Narinder Bhargawa said, on March 7, 2022, two unidentified persons snatched Rs.13,000 at the pistol point from Raj Kumar of Zira, grandfather of complainant Nitin Kumar and a case under Sections 379-B and 25, 27, 54 and 59 of Arms Act.
He further said, the police got success in tracing the case within 48 hrs through a campaign of secret sources and using technical tools, by forming special teams and arrested two identified persons as Gurpreet Singhnalias Jaggar and Ravinder Singh alias Nikka with recovery of Rs.2,000 of the snatched money.
One day police remand has been obtained by producing the alleged accused and further investigations are on and more criminal incidents are likely to come on surface.
