Rotary Club Royal celebrates winning of Gold Medal by Neeraj Chopra
Ferozepur, August 7, 2021: Neeraj Chopra created history to win the first Gold Medal for the country in javelin throw was matter of jubilation by one and all in the country.
The members of Rotary Club Royal led by Sandeep Tiwari, President and J S Sodhi, Secretary along with Yashpal, Rocky and Sumeet Manchanda, too joined in the celebrations with display of placard with photograph of Neeraj Chopra, in their hands on the busy Malwal Road and distributing ‘ladoos’ to the passerby and sports lovers.
Sandeep Tiwari said, it is proud moment for the country to win a gold in track and field in the Olympics by Neeraj Chopra who threw a distance of 87.58 m to pick the Gold Medal.
Such celebrations throughout the country will boost the morale of the winning player and those who are preparing for the next events. Tiwari said, the historic achievement has brought it to the limelight, capturing the imagination of billions watching at home and the impact your victory will create on promoting your sport amongst the country’s youth is immeasurable.
