NGOs Coordination Society prays for people affected by Covid-19
Ferozepur, July 17. 2021: The NGOs Coordination Society, Ferozepur today in its meeting held at local Home for the Blind, under the chairmanship of Inder Singh Gogia saying that the coronavirus declared as pandemic by the World Health Organization has affected more than 100 million people and death toll to over 2 million people, prayed for Almighty’s love, mercy and truth to dwell in us and show us hwo to face the challenges posed by the coronavirus.
Members present on this occasion were – Harish Kumar Chairman, M.R.Anand Secretary, Alvin Bhatti, Harvinderjit Singh, Balwinder Singh Gogia, Jagjit Singh, surinder Pal, Arun Grover, Kailash Vohra, A.C.Chawla, Sham Singh.
A prayer was also made for the long time for the frontline workers of health department who risking their lives continue to serve the Corona patients and some of them also sacrificed their lives.
After the prayer, Gogia said, due to lockdown, the meetings could not be held since March 21 and now the position has come to normal but we should not take it lightly but continue to follow the Corona protocols to completely win over the virus.
He said, it was also decided that it is the right time to plant trees to make the environment more comfortable for the generations to come adding that Forest Department has been contacted and in the next two weeks, 500 saplings may be planted at different locations, with follow up to see them till grown up.
