Ferozepur: 68 new COVID+ve cases, 5 deaths and 49 recoveries

Ferozepur, June 10, 2021: Again a dip in Covid positive cases was seen today with reporting of 68 cases only but the fatality is not going down with five deaths today taking the tally to 438 in the district since the outbreak of the virus.

As per the report, 1,88,045 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,74,080 were tested negative, 13,521 positive, 12,354 recovered, 738 active cases.

With five deaths between 22 to 60 years of age, 4 female one male, the death tally has gone to 423 in the district.

30 containment and micro containment zones are still under observation of health department.

Two more cases of Black fungus has been reported, out of which 7 are under treatment, while two has cured and one died.

In the vaccination drive, today 696 persons were given Covid vaccine making the total as on date to 1,31,220 persons including the frontline and health workers.
