4 riders on 2 bikes from Kerala on culture exchange programme get warm welcome at Ferozepur

Ferozepur, December 29, 2020:  Two bikers, four riders, started their journey from Kerala will cover three countries and 29 states, were given a warm welcome by the police chief, Bhupinder Singh, SSP and leading  social organizations, Mayank Foundation.

Bike riding culture is very widespread in the western countries and has been initially steady but now rapidly picking up in India, Nepal and Bhutan.

Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross, Harinder Bhullar renowned comedian and Kamal Sharma a teacher and social activists and others were also present on this occasion.

SSP said, it is important to be aware of the difference between the cultures and exchanging different ideas and knowledge with someone who may be coming from a completely different background than your own.

The four young bikers – Niyas, Rahul, Arju and Aadi sharing their experience of so far journey undertaken said, while our families have been supportive in this event rather each one on the way stood like a rock for any help.

We have not fixed the target time to reach back home, we are visiting the various states on the way spending quality time to be familiar with the culture and driving slowing and cautiously following strictly the traffic rules and norms.  We hope to reach back home by the end of February, 2021.

Divulging the details, Harinder Bhullar and Kamal Sharma said, the four riders on two bikes started their journey from Malapuram City on November 30.  They will visit 3 countries and 29 states.

They said, the aim of this journey is to understand and exchange of the culture, traditions and visions of India, Bhutan and Nepal by meeting the people at various stoppages on the way.

After a warm welcome at Ferozepur, the bikers moving towards Kashmir, were given a send-off with best wishes.
